We don’t add penalties just because it’s a last-minute booking, but there are a few things that affect the final price, including:

  • Whether you need a full mobile setup or DJ only

  • Total playing time and finish time

As a guide, emergency DJ hire typically starts from £300 with exact pricing confirmed once we know what’s needed.

Emergency DJ FAQs

How quickly can you get to us?

It depends on the time of your call, our existing bookings and where your venue is, but we always respond as quickly as possible. If we can physically get there and set up in time, we will.

Can you provide all the equipment at short notice?

Often, yes. We have a full mobile DJ setup with professional sound and lighting ready to go. If your venue already has a suitable system, we can also step in as a DJ only and use your existing equipment.

What if our event is outside your usual area?

If you’re slightly outside our regular counties, still get in touch. For the right timing and setup we may still be able to help, or we’ll let you know honestly if it’s not realistic.

Do you charge more for emergency bookings?

We don’t add a “panic premium”, but last-minute bookings can sometimes cost more if they involve extra travel time, late finishes or providing a full setup at very short notice. We’ll always be upfront and clear about costs before you confirm.

Do we need to pay a deposit immediately for emergency bookings?

Yes. For emergency and last-minute DJ bookings we take a deposit straight away to secure your date and confirm travel. The remaining balance is then paid on arrival at the venue, before the performance starts. If needed, we can also send over a quick booking contract so everything is clear and confirmed in writing.

Can you match the style of the original DJ?

We’ll do our best to match the vibe, using your guidance and any information you can share about the original brief. Our DJs are experienced across multiple genres and know how to adapt quickly to the room.
