MHX Entertainment is the company Matt Hall built around the part he has always cared about most: getting the music right for the people in front of him. Today we bring that same attention to the whole event, from the first conversation to the final track.
We provide live DJing, considered sound and lighting for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and retail occasions. Each brief is different, so we plan around the people and place in front of us.
Where It Started
Years Behind the Decks. One Clear Vision.
Long before MHX was a company, Matt was learning his craft in clubs, bars and event rooms. More than 20 years behind the decks taught him that a great night takes more than a good playlist. You have to read the room, mix properly and know when to build the energy or give people space.
He wanted to bring that level of DJing to events where the presentation and planning mattered just as much. MHX grew from that idea. We would think about how the booth looks in the room, where the sound needs to reach, how speeches will work and what has to happen before guests arrive.
Matt still shapes the approach and DJs many MHX events himself. As the work has grown, experienced DJs have joined the team. The aim is the same for every booking: know the brief, prepare well and make it feel effortless on the day.
