A Brilliant Night Starts with the Right Person Behind the Decks
MHX is Matt Hall's business and his approach shapes every booking: understand the people in the room, get the music right and make the whole experience feel effortless. Matt performs at many of our events, alongside experienced DJs Chris Gray and Stefano Santaniello.
What puts MHX a cut above is the DJing itself: live mixing, sound judgement and the confidence to take the music somewhere as the room changes. Each DJ brings experience, preparation and a real feel for the crowd. The setup looks the part, but it is the person playing it who makes the night.

Matt Hall
The detail matters to Matt, from the first conversation and the look of the setup to the record that brings everyone onto the floor.
With more than 20 years behind the decks, Matt has moved between long-running nightlife residencies, weddings, private celebrations and major corporate events. His experience includes the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix Main Stage, warm-up sets for artists including Mel C, and performances overseas. He is just as at home building the music for a London rooftop, a brand occasion or a wedding, mixing live and changing direction when the room calls for it.
Matt leads the creative direction of MHX and is closely involved in planning the music, presentation and practical details. If you would like Matt personally, tell us when you enquire so we can confirm his availability for your date.

Chris Gray
Chris brings the same care for music, presentation and people that clients expect from MHX.
He has more than 20 years of professional DJ experience across weddings, company events and private celebrations, as well as residencies in the Midlands and East of England. Technically assured and comfortable with very different crowds, Chris can move naturally between the music guests know, the tracks they have requested and the energy the night needs.
Matt trusts Chris to represent MHX with the same thoughtful preparation and polished setup. His identity, role and the plan for your event are agreed as part of the booking.

Stefano Santaniello
Stef knows how to give a night momentum, with sound and lighting experience that goes beyond the decks.
Based in Cambridgeshire, Stefano has nearly 15 years' experience in bars, clubs, weddings and private events. He is at home moving from 80s and 90s favourites into R&B, club classics and current music, adjusting the direction as the crowd responds.
His work as a stage manager and lighting technician gives him an especially practical eye for how a room looks and feels. As with every MHX booking, the DJ and event plan are confirmed with you in advance.
