Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, mobile phone or other device when you visit a website. They can help a website function, remember choices and provide information about how the website is used.

Similar technologies include scripts, tags, pixels, local storage and other methods that store information on, or access information from, your device. In this policy, references to cookies also include these similar technologies where appropriate.

Cookies may be:

  • Session cookies, which are normally removed when you close your browser.

  • Persistent cookies, which remain until their stated expiry date or until you delete them.

  • First-party cookies, which are set through our website domain.

  • To remember cookie choices and certain website preferences.

  • To understand how visitors find and use the website.

  • To measure page views, interactions and website performance.

  • To display third-party content, including our Google Reviews widget.

  • To identify technical problems and improve the website and our services.

We do not currently use Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking or other advertising and retargeting tags on this website. If this changes, we will update this policy and our consent controls before using those technologies where consent is required.

4. STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES

Strictly necessary cookies support functions required for the website to operate or provide a service requested by you. These may include session management, security, website delivery and recording your cookie choice.

These cookies cannot normally be switched off through our consent controls because the website may not function properly without them. They are not used by MHX Entertainment Ltd for advertising.

5. ANALYTICS AND PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGIES

We use analytics to understand how the website performs, which pages are visited and how visitors move through the website. This helps us improve the information and services we provide.

Where consent is required, analytics cookies and related technologies are not activated until you have made a positive choice through our cookie controls.

5.1 GOOGLE ANALYTICS 4

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to collect information about website use, such as page views, approximate location, device and browser type, traffic source and interactions with the website. Google Analytics uses identifiers to distinguish visits and produce statistical reports.

IP anonymisation is enabled in the website configuration. However, analytics information may still amount to personal data or information accessed from a device, so Google Analytics is treated as non-essential for the purposes of our cookie controls.

Google Analytics may use:

5.2 GOOGLE TAG MANAGER

Google Tag Manager is used to manage and deliver website tags. Google Tag Manager does not ordinarily set analytics cookies itself, but it can load Google Analytics or other configured technologies. Any non-essential tag deployed through it must remain subject to the appropriate consent choice.

5.3 PLAUSIBLE ANALYTICS

Webador uses a Plausible Analytics script to help produce aggregate website statistics. The version currently present on the website is designed to operate without setting analytics cookies. It may still process limited technical information needed to count visits and prevent duplicate counting. Further details are available from Webador and Plausible.

6. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND SERVICES

Some pages include content or functionality supplied by third parties. These services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, page visited and the date and time of access. They may also use cookies or similar technologies, subject to their own policies and your consent choices where applicable.

6.1 ELFSIGHT GOOGLE REVIEWS WIDGET

We use an Elfsight widget to display selected Google Reviews. When the widget loads, your browser may connect to Elfsight and related services to retrieve its content. Elfsight or connected services may use cookies or similar technologies for security, functionality, usage measurement or delivery of the widget.

Cookie names and durations used by embedded services can change and may depend on the visitor's browser, existing accounts and interaction with the widget. Where these technologies are non-essential, they are blocked until the appropriate consent has been provided.

6.2 LINKS TO INSTAGRAM AND WHATSAPP

Our website contains links to Instagram and WhatsApp. A normal link does not by itself place an Instagram or WhatsApp cookie through our website. If you follow one of these links, the relevant service may collect information and use cookies under its own privacy and cookie policies. This is outside our direct control.

7. YOUR COOKIE CHOICES

When you first visit the website, our cookie controls allow you to:

  • Accept all optional cookies and technologies.

  • Reject non-essential cookies and technologies.

  • Manage available cookie categories where supported.

Strictly necessary cookies remain active because they are required to operate the website or remember your choice. Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent you from accessing the main information on the website, although some third-party content or features may not display or operate fully.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by using the Cookie Settings control on the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

You can also use your browser settings to view, block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect website functions, and deleting the cookie that remembers your preference may cause the consent banner to appear again.

8. THIRD-PARTY PRIVACY INFORMATION

The third-party services referred to in this policy operate under their own privacy and cookie information. You can find further information at:

9. LEGAL BASIS AND APPLICABLE RULES

The use of cookies and similar technologies is governed primarily by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, as amended. Where information collected through these technologies is personal data, the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018 may also apply.

Strictly necessary technologies may be used without consent where a relevant legal exemption applies. Where consent is required for non-essential technologies, we rely on your consent. Any subsequent processing of personal data is carried out as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY

We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, suppliers, technologies or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page and the date at the top will be updated.

We will review the website's cookies and similar technologies periodically and after material changes to embedded content, analytics or advertising tools.
