Beyond the Equipment List
You notice the music and the atmosphere. We think about what makes those moments happen: choosing the right sound for the room, placing it well, keeping the presentation clean and planning the practical details with your venue.
MHX brings professional DJ equipment, sound and lighting to weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and brand occasions. Each quote sets out what is included for your event, so the setup you see on the day is the one we agreed.

Sound With a Purpose
The system needs to suit the space and the people in it. An intimate wedding room, a London office celebration and a larger outdoor event call for different coverage and different levels of control.
We plan speaker placement, low-end, microphones and the change from background music to a proper party. Our rigs can be scaled with additional speakers, subwoofers and processing where the brief calls for it.
At 22 Bishopsgate, a compact black setup carried enough presence for a remarkable room while keeping the look smart.
The MHX Equipment Range
Our sound options include Yamaha, EV and Alto TS. On the DJ side we use Pioneer and Traktor platforms, with programmable lighting to shape the room. The exact combination depends on the DJ, venue and brief, and we agree it with you before the event.
The Look of the Room
We can keep the presentation understated or give the dancefloor a stronger focal point. Colour, movement and the placement of each fixture are planned around your room, not copied from the last event.

A clean booth and carefully placed light for an awards night, dinner or company celebration.

A coordinated white setup, mirrorball, podiums and a starlit dancefloor when the room calls for the full look.

Lighting with more movement and depth for a marquee or late-night party, with the sound to match.
Moving heads, light bars, uplighting and effects are specified only where they suit the venue and are permitted. Smoke or haze needs the venue’s approval.

The Person Operating It Matters
A polished booth is only part of it. We play and mix live, taking your music brief into the room and responding to the people there. Matt DJs many MHX events; Chris and other experienced DJs are also part of the team.
We can plan cues for speeches, walk-ons, a first dance or a brand reveal, with microphones and the right sound coverage included where agreed. You will know who your DJ is and what equipment is coming before the event.
Meet the MHX DJs →Ready for the Venue Team
For a venue or event manager, the paperwork and the way the equipment is used matter as much as the finished look. We can supply the relevant documents in advance and work through any site-specific requirements.
MHX holds £10 million public liability cover. We can provide evidence to the venue or organiser on request.
We use PAT-tested equipment, inspect it before use and keep the relevant records available for venue checks.
Risk assessment and method statement documents are available, with event-specific access and setup details agreed as required.

Before We Load In
Tell us about power, the route from the vehicle, lifts, loading times, sound limits, outdoor cover and any security clearance. We prefer to use equipment we know, so an installed house sound system needs its specifications, connections and a proper discussion before we agree to use it.
For City and Canary Wharf events, the loading bay, parking after unloading and end-of-night collection can be as important as the room itself. We plan these details early.
