Matt brings more than 20 years behind the decks and personally DJs at most MHX events. He is closely involved from the first conversation, with the same care given to the music, the setup and the practical details.
MHX also works with experienced DJs who share that approach. Your DJ is agreed with you as part of the booking, with Matt overseeing the details. You feel listened to beforehand and free to enjoy the day.

We’ll talk through your music preferences, the songs you definitely want and anything you would rather avoid. Then we mix live and respond to your guests, knowing when to let a track play, when to change direction and when to build the energy.
A Few Things You Might Want to Know
Will Matt Be Our DJ?
Matt personally DJs at most MHX events. Your DJ is confirmed as part of the booking, and any involvement from another MHX DJ is discussed and agreed with you.
Can We Choose the Music?
Yes. We’ll discuss your music preferences, must-play tracks and anything you want us to avoid. That gives us a clear direction while leaving room to respond to your guests on the day.
Do You Provide Sound and Lighting?
We can provide the DJ booth, sound, lighting and wireless microphones required for your event. Everything included is agreed in your quotation. We can also work alongside a venue or production team’s system where arranged.
Are You Insured?
MHX carries £10m public liability cover and uses PAT-tested equipment. We can provide the relevant documents to your venue or event team. View Equipment & Insurance Information.
