Definitely. Many Cambridgeshire events start with softer background music for arrivals, networking and dinner, then build into a more upbeat party set later on. We’re used to structuring the night in phases so people can talk comfortably early on, then hit the dancefloor once speeches and formalities are over.

For key dates in the calendar - especially Thursdays and Fridays in November and December - it’s best to confirm your DJ as soon as you have a venue and date agreed. For most other times of year, we recommend securing your booking several weeks in advance to give time for planning. That said, if your event has landed at short notice in Cambridge or Peterborough, it’s still worth asking - if we’re free, we’ll do our best to help.

The more we know, the more accurate your quote will be. As a minimum, we’ll ask for the date, venue location, approximate guest numbers, event timings, whether you need background music as well as a party set, and any technical requirements such as microphones or specific lighting. From there we can recommend a suitable setup and give you a clear price.

Yes. Corporate events in Cambridgeshire often include presentations, awards, speeches and specific timings, and we’re completely comfortable working from a structured run sheet. We’ll coordinate with your organiser or the venue contact so cues for walk-ons, award stings and closing tracks happen exactly when they should.

We can. Not every corporate event needs a large production. If you’re hosting a party in your office, a private dining room or a smaller space in Cambridge or the surrounding area, we can supply a compact, tidy setup that still looks professional and sounds great, without taking over the entire room.

Many hotels and venues in and around Cambridge and Peterborough have sound limiters or specific volume policies. We’re used to working within those limits. We’ll discuss any restrictions with you and with the venue in advance, then set our equipment up accordingly so we stay within their guidelines while still keeping the atmosphere where it needs to be.

We can do either, depending on what’s in place. We’re fully equipped to bring a complete sound and lighting rig for your corporate event, but if your Cambridgeshire venue already has a quality installed system, we can often integrate with that instead. We’ll advise on the best option once we know more about the space.

Yes. All of our equipment is PAT-tested, and we carry public liability insurance at a level that satisfies the requirements of Cambridgeshire hotels, conference venues and corporate spaces. We can provide documentation in advance if your venue requests it.

Once you’re happy with the quote, we’ll send a simple booking agreement summarising your key event details. A deposit is then paid to lock in the date, with the remaining balance usually due closer to the event. Everything - including payment terms and deadlines - is set out clearly in writing so there are no surprises.
