A rooftop party can start with a loading bay, a security desk and a service lift. We have made those journeys many times across the City and Canary Wharf. Agreeing the route early gives us time to set up, check the sound and be ready before your guests arrive.

Confirm the authorised bay or entrance, the vehicle stop and the full equipment route.
02Security & Lifts
Arrange crew names, registration details, passes and service-lift access with the venue.
03Parking & Travel
Agree off-site parking and time to return on foot or by Tube, then collect the vehicle when the event finishes.
04Finish & Collection
Agree the sound cut-off, pack-down window and how loading works at the end.
Loading and unloading, security clearance, lift bookings, parking and any applicable Congestion Charge or other road charges must be agreed well in advance. We confirm the arrangements and how the costs are covered in your quote, including collection after the event.

Matt leads the planning and brings more than 20 years of DJ experience to the music brief. He thinks through the room, the people in it and how the night should feel, then works with the event team to make that happen.
For events needing more than one DJ or additional production, MHX can bring in experienced DJs and scale the setup appropriately. The same care goes into the booking either way.

Planning a City or Canary Wharf Event
What Do You Need to Plan Access at a City Office or Rooftop?
The full venue address, contact for production or facilities, approved loading point, access hours, lift route, security process and any space or sound restrictions. We can then plan the equipment, timings and crew around what the building actually permits.
What If There Is No Parking at the Venue?
We agree a legal loading arrangement first, then plan where the vehicle can be parked after unloading. That may mean allowing time to walk or return by public transport. The end-of-night collection route matters just as much and is agreed in advance.
Are Congestion, Parking and Other London Charges Included in the Quote?
We consider applicable road charges, parking and the agreed access plan when preparing your quotation. Tell us the venue and any parking provision early so the quote reflects the actual logistics. We confirm how these costs are covered before the booking is agreed.
Can You Work With Security Clearance and Timed Loading Bays?
Yes. City and Canary Wharf buildings commonly require advance registration, security clearance and strict loading slots. We will provide the crew and vehicle information the venue requests and coordinate the arrival plan with your contact. The organiser still needs to arrange the required permission with the building.
Can the Music Start with Networking and Build into a Party?
Yes. We agree the running order, guest mix and music direction with you, then shape the set through arrivals, drinks, speeches or dinner and the later party. The transition is judged live in the room rather than fixed to a generic playlist.
Can You Use the Venue’s Existing Sound System?
We prefer to use our own sound equipment because we know how it performs and can plan the setup around your event. If the venue requires its own system to be used, we need to discuss the specifications, connection points, volume limits and available technical support in advance, including a sound check. We cannot guarantee the quality or performance of a house system we have not assessed, so this needs to be agreed before the event.

Yes. We cover the City, including Bishopsgate, Barbican, Liverpool Street, Bank, Fenchurch Street and Spitalfields, as well as Canary Wharf, West India Quay and nearby Docklands venues. Send the precise venue address and event details so we can confirm the setup and access plan.
