Matt Hall leads MHX with more than 20 years behind the decks. He performs at many of our weddings, alongside experienced MHX DJs including Chris. Your DJ is confirmed as part of your booking, and you can tell us if you have someone particular in mind.
Share your favourite genres, must-plays, do-not-plays and how you feel about requests. We prepare properly, mix live and respond to your guests. Announcements can be kept as understated as you like.

We confirm the loading route, parking, power and the time your venue can give us. A room turnaround after dinner needs a different plan from a setup ready before guests arrive.

Separate ceremony, drinks and reception spaces may need separate audio. We agree microphones, cues and any venue sound limits before the day.
Music & Moments
We discuss the first dance, speeches, favourite tracks and anything you would rather avoid. Your dedicated WhatsApp group keeps the details easy to share.

Do You Cover Weddings Across Buckinghamshire?
Yes. We cover Aylesbury, Buckingham, the Chilterns, High Wycombe, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Taplow and surrounding towns and villages. We also have a dedicated Milton Keynes wedding page. Send us your venue and date so we can confirm availability and any travel or access considerations.
Have You Played at Our Buckinghamshire Venue?
We have delivered weddings at Tip Top Venues at Hounslow Hall, the Cruck Barn at Bradwell Abbey and Notley Abbey, plus Bisham Abbey near Marlow. MHX has also supplied event entertainment at Horwood House. Even at a familiar venue, we confirm your particular room, loading arrangements, supplier access and sound rules for the date.
Can You Cover a Ceremony Outside and a Reception Inside?
Yes, where the venue and conditions allow. An outdoor ceremony and an indoor evening space generally need separate audio arrangements. Share your timings, layout and any speech or music cues so we can quote for the right equipment and staffing. Ceremony audio is not included as standard in all-day coverage.
What If the Barn or Estate Has a Sound Limiter?
Tell us about the limiter, finish time and any restrictions as early as possible. We can discuss the appropriate sound system and performance approach with the venue. We cannot guarantee a particular volume or bypass a venue limit.
How Much Does Wedding DJ Hire in Buckinghamshire Cost?
Evening Reception coverage starts from £495 and All-Day Wedding coverage from £895 with our Classic setup. Peak Saturdays from May to September add £100. Your chosen presentation, access, timings, location and optional audio or enhancements shape your final quotation.
Will Matt Be Our DJ and How Do We Book?
Matt performs at many MHX weddings and we also work with experienced team DJs, including Chris. Tell us if you have a preference; we confirm your DJ before booking. Once your date, venue, coverage and setup are agreed, a booking agreement and 20% deposit secure your wedding. Your agreement confirms the remaining payment dates.
