The Oxfordshire Setting
A city room, a country house and a barn each ask for a different approach. Tell us where you are celebrating and how the spaces will be used. We will make the presentation fit.

A ceremony, dinner and party may use different rooms or outdoor areas. Around Witney and Chipping Norton, we would discuss whether each space needs its own sound and how the setup will move through the day.
For a larger room or a countryside marquee, we look at the sound coverage, power, weather protection and the route in. The finish can still be clean, even when the production is substantial.
Oxfordshire venue examples include the Old Bodleian Library in Oxford, Blenheim Palace at Woodstock, Caswell House near Witney and Tythe in Launton. These venues show the range of settings in the county; they are not MHX booking claims or affiliations.

Your Music, Mixed Live
A considered setup matters, but the evening depends on what happens behind it. We learn your favourites and the songs you would rather avoid, then mix live for the guests in front of us.
It is your celebration. The music should sound like it.

Ceremony Audio and Extra Spaces
If your ceremony, speeches and party are in different places, we can plan sound for each space rather than assume the evening speakers will cover it all.

The People Behind MHX
Matt leads MHX and DJs many of our weddings. Chris and other experienced team DJs are available too. We confirm the DJ for your date before you book, so you know who is taking care of the music.
Whoever is playing, we discuss your music, key moments and venue plan with you. The preparation and the standard of presentation remain the same.

Yes, a separate ceremony audio position, wireless microphones and agreed entrance and exit tracks can be discussed. We check venue permission, power, weather protection and the distance from the reception space before quoting.
Our standard all-day wedding coverage begins at 1pm in the agreed main room, with background music for the wedding breakfast, support for agreed speeches and the full evening DJ performance. Setup time is separate; earlier ceremonies and additional spaces can be quoted separately.
We ask your venue about access times, loading route, stairs, sound limits, power, room changes and permitted finish time. We plan a suitable booth, sound system and lighting for the space you actually booked. Restrictions differ by venue.
Absolutely. Tell us the songs you love, the genres you want, the tracks to avoid and how you feel about requests. Your DJ mixes live and responds to the guests while keeping your preferences at the centre.
Matt leads MHX and performs at many weddings. Experienced MHX team DJs, including Chris, are also available. We confirm the DJ available for your date before booking. Tell us if you have a particular preference.
We can plan sound and lighting for a marquee or additional rooms where venue arrangements allow. We will discuss power, shelter, access, installation windows and whether separate audio positions are needed.
Send your date, venue, approximate guest numbers, desired coverage and any music priorities. We confirm availability, recommend an appropriate setup and provide a tailored quotation. A booking agreement and normally a 20% booking fee secure an accepted date in writing.
